Shade. (Mantra for Acceptance)

I stand atop my moral ground,
think of you when I am down.
why step down when I can float?
high atop these fields of smoke.
I stand atop my moral ground,
look down on you and wonder how,
we’d ever let them all allow…
take time, let’s just figure this out.
I sit atop my ivory chains,
It’s not my fault you’re in pain.
we’d never let you be to blame.
I’m fearful now with nothing to gain.
The most interesting plants grow in the shade.
