Skeleton Woman. (Mantra for Grief)

I lay death under the moon,
Skeleton woman, I dance with you.
Show me your skin as tears glide down my cheeks.
Maybe we can feast and intertwine in defeat.
I want to have hope again, dreaming of my best friend.
I'll sit in stillness until his spirit finds me.
I'll lay death down so new life grows behind me.
Skeleton woman, I pray to you.
Give me an opportunity to be free.
Let me drink the tears that glide down my cheeks,
so that forgiveness rains down on me.
