Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Brain Cradle?

Brain Cradle is a Yoga Curriculum Design Studio that helps yoga schools build cohesive, professional teacher training curricula, manuals, and program resources.

Rather than starting from a blank page, schools begin with a professionally developed curriculum foundation that can be customized to reflect their branding, educational approach, and program goals.

Whether you're launching your first training or refining an existing one, Brain Cradle provides the tools to help you create a structured, student-centered learning experience—from curriculum design through professionally printed training materials.

2. What does "White-Label Curriculum" mean?

White-label curriculum is professionally developed educational content that is customized to reflect your school's identity.

Brain Cradle provides the curriculum framework, while your school's branding, teaching philosophy, sequencing, and unique perspective remain at the center of the student experience.

Every school receives a unique curriculum built on the same professional foundation.

3. How was the curriculum developed?

Brain Cradle's curriculum was developed through years of curriculum design, research, and experience supporting Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Schools.

Development included:

  • Reviewing Yoga Alliance educational standards

  • Studying traditional yoga texts alongside contemporary research

  • Collaborating with experienced yoga educators

  • Designing content to support meaningful learning—not simply information delivery

Each curriculum is organized around three questions:

  • What should students learn?

  • Why is it important?

  • How can instructors teach it effectively?

Brain Cradle provides the educational framework so lead trainers can focus on delivering their own unique teaching experience.

4. What can I customize?

Every curriculum can be tailored to your program.

Customization may include:

  • School branding

  • Electives

  • Additional asanas

  • Homework Suites

  • Written Assessments

  • Policies and graduation materials

  • Curriculum revisions

  • Print-on-demand manuals

Every school receives a customized curriculum package designed to support its unique training program.

5. Can I edit the curriculum myself?

Brain Cradle materials are intentionally delivered as non-editable PDFs.

This helps preserve curriculum integrity, maintain professional formatting, and ensure all materials remain cohesive throughout your training program.

If you'd like to make changes, Brain Cradle offers curriculum customization and revision services.

6. Does purchasing a curriculum include Yoga Alliance application services?

No.

Curriculum products and Yoga Alliance application services are offered separately.

If you're applying to become a Registered Yoga School (RYS), Brain Cradle also offers Yoga Alliance application support as a separate service to help organize your documentation and prepare your submission.

Lead Trainers must meet Yoga Alliance's credential requirements before applying.

7. Do you guarantee Yoga Alliance approval?

No.

Because Yoga Alliance evaluates each application independently, Brain Cradle cannot guarantee approval.

Approval depends on factors such as:

  • Lead Trainer credentials

  • Account standing

  • Submitted documentation

  • Compliance with current Yoga Alliance standards

While approval decisions are made solely by Yoga Alliance, Brain Cradle helps you prepare clear, organized, and professional curriculum materials that support a smooth submission process.

8. Which asanas are included in the curriculum?

Brain Cradle's curriculum foundation intentionally includes Sukhasana (Easy Pose) and Savasana (Corpse Pose) as the standard illustrated postures.

Instead of providing a predetermined collection of illustrated asanas, schools build their own illustrated Asana Library based on the styles, sequences, and educational goals of their program.

This approach allows each training to reflect its unique curriculum instead of requiring schools to remove or replace postures that don't align with their teaching.

9. How does the Asana Library work?

The Brain Cradle Asana Library allows schools to customize their curriculum with professionally illustrated asanas.

Schools may select individual postures from the existing Asana Library or request custom illustrations for postures that are not yet available.

Selected asanas are seamlessly integrated into your curriculum, maintaining consistent formatting, educational design, and visual style throughout your training materials.

Whether your program emphasizes Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Prenatal Yoga, or other specialized approaches to yoga, your illustrated Asana Library is built specifically for your curriculum.
