Why Brain Cradle Prices Our Services the Way We Do

Updated: Jan 4

At Brain Cradle, pricing is not an afterthought — it’s a philosophy.

We work with yoga professionals across a wide spectrum: first-time Lead Trainers launching their very first 200-hour program, seasoned educators expanding into 300- or 500-hour offerings, nonprofit studios serving underserved communities, and established schools refining their curriculum and systems.

Each of these professionals brings different resources, needs, and realities to the table. Our goal has always been to create a pricing structure that is transparent, logical, and accessible, while still honoring the time, labor, and expertise required to do this work well.

A simple benchmark we return to

When we step back and look at the full scope of support Brain Cradle offers for a new Registered Yoga School (RYS 200), the total investment often looks like this:

• RYS 200 Application Submission Service: $1,249
• Customized White-Label 200-Hour Training Manual: $349
• Printed Manuals for a 15-person cohort (average training size): $975
Total: $2,573

That number is not arbitrary. It is intentionally aligned with the average tuition of a single yoga teacher trainee.

In other words, many schools can cover the foundational infrastructure of their entire training program with the enrollment of one student. This benchmark helps us stay grounded. If our pricing ever drifts far beyond that relationship, we pause and reassess.

Why this matters to us

Yoga teacher trainings are not one-size-fits-all. Some schools operate in high-cost urban areas, some are rural. Some are well-funded, others are community-based or donation-supported. Some Lead Trainers are supported by large studios; others are building something entirely on their own.

We believe that access to professional manuals/ Mind Maps and Yoga Alliance application support should not be limited to only those with the most financial privilege.

At the same time, this work requires real labor: design, instructional structure, editing, compliance review, design, illustration, printing logistics, and years of lived experience inside the Yoga Alliance ecosystem.

Our pricing sits at the intersection of those two truths.

Why we separate services instead of bundling everything

You’ll notice that Brain Cradle does not sell a single, all-inclusive package.

Instead, we separate our services intentionally:

• A one-time customization fee for adapting your training manual to your school
• Wholesale print pricing for manuals, so you’re not paying retail markups
• A standalone application submission service, for schools that want hands-on guidance through the Yoga Alliance process

This approach keeps pricing fair and flexible. Schools only pay for what they actually need, and they are not locked into unnecessary upgrades or inflated bundles.

It also allows schools to scale responsibly — adding cohorts, ordering additional manuals, or expanding programs without re-paying for work that has already been completed.

Keeping prices low is ongoing work

We are constantly reviewing our systems, workflows, and partnerships to keep costs down without compromising quality. This includes:

• Streamlining application preparation to reduce back-and-forth
• Designing manuals that are beautiful and print-efficient
• Offering wholesale printing rather than retail pricing
• Limiting scope creep so we can avoid passing hidden labor costs onto clients

When we raise prices in the future (as any sustainable business must), we do so thoughtfully and transparently — never quietly, never without reason.

Our commitment

Brain Cradle exists to support yoga professionals — not gatekeep them.

Our pricing reflects a commitment to:

• Accessibility
• Transparency
• Professional standards
• Long-term sustainability

We want you to understand exactly what you’re paying for, why it costs what it does, and how it fits into the larger picture of building a training program you’re proud of.

If you ever have questions about pricing, options, or what level of support makes the most sense for your school, we’re always happy to talk it through.

You be the brain, we'll be the cradle.
